Western’s efficiency team is available to visit your home, review your outdoor watering practices, discuss your indoor use and recommend easy ways to save water and money by becoming more efficient. Take Advantage of Rebates

Water to Meet the Needs of Your Plants
Most plants, including your lawn, require far less water than the average homeowner typically gives them. Lawns only need four to eight minutes of watering three days per week, depending on the season. If you see water running off your lawn onto the sidewalk and curb, you’re watering too much.

Look For Leaks
Leaks are the most common source of wasted water. Check your toilets to make sure they’re working properly and make sure your sprinkler system is water-tight. If you find wet patches on your lawn when the sprinklers aren’t running, you likely have a leak.
